Sam (LLB, LLM, MCIArb) was called to the bar in 2018. He has since been developing a broad practice with a focus in criminal law, employment law and personal injuries. He is experienced in representing defendants in criminal proceedings but would also prosecute cases as counsel-on-fiat from time to time.

Sam is dedicated to knowledge sharing. He is regularly invited by the Home Affairs Department, the Labour Department and various institutions to deliver talks on Building Management, Trial Techniques, Employment Law, Animal Law, Intellectual Property Law and Mediation.

Sam is enthusiastic about public service. He is a member of the Young Barrister Committee which serves the junior members of the bar. In his leisure, Sam would also volunteer as trainer and moot judge at mock trial and mooting competitions. In 2023, Sam was awarded under the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Office Recognition Scheme for Provision of Pro Bono Legal Services.
